Family Fun Day & Back-To-School Bash - Columbia Housing and Redevelopment Corporation

Columbia Housing and Redevelopment Corporation (CHRC) did it again and presented another fantastic Family Fun Day and Back-to-School Bash. Each year, the event marks the end of a successful summer and brings the community together while also providing the opportunity for residents to meet with local supportive services and community partners.

This year's event was held on July 23rd. Attendees were able to enjoy the DJ, receive free school supplies and personal hygiene items, and enjoy complimentary shaved ice. If attendees needed a more substantial refreshment, the CHRC served up hamburgers and hotdogs, grilled up by their very own President and CEO, Trent Ogilvie.

Community Partners had the opportunity to engage with residents and help them learn more about their available services and opportunities. The event would not be possible without the generous donations of community partners and the outstanding CHRC staff who helped facilitate the event.
