A Message from the ED/CEO

"Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions.
The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for." - Zig Ziglar

I want to take this opportunity as the Executive Director/CEO to express my gratitude to the CHRC Board of Commissioners and our outstanding staff and residents. We have experienced tremendous success through the RAD conversion starting in 2017 from public housing to HUD multifamily/tax credit properties in the (Creekside, Northridge, and Oakwood) communities. This much needed transformation introduced "A New Day and A New Way" improving CHRC properties with brand new renovated apartments, improved operating and financial processes, and award-winning management performance.  We sincerely believe in our mission to "provide outstanding affordable housing and redevelopment services to improve the quality of life for our residents and the community".

For the past 65 years, CHRC has remained a steadfast leader in affordable housing services through hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the needs of our residents and the community.  The most important part of our mission and work is service. We remain focused on doing the right things for the right reasons whether involves compliance paperwork, resident service activities, maintenance work orders, or completing vacant unit turnarounds with excellence. We believe that when you encounter the outstanding work that is happening in our organization that you will agree that CHRC is "A Great Place to Be".
